Servicing and mechanical repairs
At Black Stallion Motors every staff member is a motoring enthusiast.
As such, we are fully aware of the special considerations needed when working with Porsches and Ferraris and are committed to treating every car with the utmost care.
To this aim, the workshop has been designed and built to our own specifications, and it features all the latest equipment. Flat floor hoists accommodate cars with low ground clearance and there’s plenty of room for wide doors. Of course we have all the special tools needed for serious work on cars of both marques and we stock all the correct lubricants if your car just needs a service.
As an added service we also offer to convey our customers’ cars to and from Black Stallion’s premises, using our purpose-built transporter designed to carry the lowest car.
The Black Stallion Motors service department is headed by Tim Embleton.

Tim Embleton commenced his automotive career in the UK, where he completed his 5-year City & Guilds Apprenticeship to "A" grade in 1980. While working on Mercedes and BMWs at Lloyds of Stafford, Tim completed a further year of study on diesel engines. In 1988 he emigrated to Australia to work on Mercedes at Worrells Motors in Toorak and at FW Graunke in Ferntree Gully. This was followed by five years working exclusively on Ferraris with Graeme Vincent, before joining Bosch Australia as their customer service manager for aftermarket automotive products.
Tim and his wife also have two young children. They are building their own home, but when time permits, Tim enjoys working on and racing his vintage dirt bikes. |
